Classrooms

Air-conditioned and heated classrooms with complete network, interactive flat panel, and displays. It is a leading educational interactive flat panel which is a highly effective collaborative device to facilitate classroom teaching and digital learning.

Learning Lounge

A facility for one-to-one tutoring of students with reading difficulties.

Art Education Studios

Drawing out the artist in everyone, DIS art rooms are feature of our main building. They're equipped with, art tables and a broad range of equipment for creating visual art works. The multi-purpose studios provide safe access to materials and tools for drawing, painting, printmaking, fibers, sculpture, photography, ceramics and electronic art. Two storage areas, and student lounge are located off of the multi-purpose studios. There are large display areas throughout the studios. DIS encourages artists to grow, explore, learn together and create art that is personal and relevant.

Kindergarten Activity Rooms

These well-equipped and spacious rooms provide a wide variety of resources aimed at stimulating the interest of young students during recreation as well as during specific class activities.

Science Laboratories

To provide hands-on practical experience to our students, excellent equipment’s and facilities are provided in separate laboratories for Chemistry, Biology and Home Science.

DIS laboratories are well equipped for the purpose of enhancing practical applications, demonstrations and experimentation.

Swimming Pool

Whether you are swimming for leisure, fitness or entertaining the kids, DIS extensive pool facilities meet and exceed all of your expectations. We have a great team of Lifeguards on hand to make sure your session is as enjoyable and safe as possible. If you’d like to learn to swim, or want to improve your strokes, DIS Swim School is ideal for that. Teaching children how to swim and gain love and respect for water, with qualified swimming teachers and lifeguards on hand at all times. Your children are in safe hands on our Swimming lessons.

Medical Care

 The school has a well-equipped medical dispensary manned by a full-time, qualified Nurse and a doctor all week round. All cases of injury or illness receive medical attention; wherever specialized medical aid is required; emergency transport is available to take a student to hospital. Students undergo regular growth assessments medical check-ups, and a health record is maintained for each student.

Security System

Safety and security of our students are our priority in school. In order to provide a secure environment for our students, the school has taken the initiative to install cameras around the school campus to ensure safety at all times.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

 DIS has many ICT labs and all computers are equipped with multimedia kits and interconnected nodes with internet facilities. Technology is used to make teaching and learning meaningful and fun. ICT is well integrated into all subject areas and all classrooms are equipped with PCs.  New technology tools like Interactive Panel boards are used for visualizing and modelling, especially in the Sciences. 

Libraries (Knowledge Support Center)

The school boasts of two well-stocked libraries with an impressive index of titles, covering fiction and non-fiction, periodicals, magazines, and newspapers. Students are encouraged to make full use of these facilities in order to inculcate a love for books and the habit of reading from an early age. Internet facilities are available for research and study. The libraries are managed by highly qualified personnel and have thousands of age-appropriate books.

DIS libraries containing learning and teaching resources that are available for all students. The school libraries also known as the Knowledge Support Center (KSC) provides variety of interactive teaching resources.

Children are encouraged to borrow books weekly. All classes have access to the library collection from the database on classroom computers. Students may use the library computers for research purposes during lessons and when the library is open.

Virtual reality lab

DIS First Virtual Reality Lab provides experimental environments for simulation, augmentation, and 3D interaction. DIS lab provides technologies to realize mobile augmented reality systems.

DIS lab has a large-scale simulation environment that allows life-sized interaction with computer simulations and full-body motion capturing.

Music Room

Our fully equipped music room at DIS provides the perfect setting for students to develop their music talents or just simply rock out. 

Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, you have access to the music room on a daily basis to practice alone or with others. There are a range of instruments and equipment’s on offer, but you are also welcome to bring your own instruments too. DIS music rooms to support music and singing are available.
